The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Percy Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Goiano in the 4th minute of play. Ramalho's Nilton de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Terra in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Percy de Sousa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Percy Vidal, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Ramalho's Joélson Goiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percy Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Percy de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Vidal having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Joélson Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FLAMONT FC.'s Percy Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Percy de Sousa in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Percy Vidal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Percy de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramalho's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percy Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joélson Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jardel Neiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, FLAMONT FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Goiano came free, but Percy Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FLAMONT FC.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ramalho the free kick. Joélson Goiano struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Percy Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramalho. When the referee ended the match the Ramalho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
