Albertinho Velloso made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Marcelo de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo de Barros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albertinho Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo de Barros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Albertinho Velloso made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Rui Bastos sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Pojuquinha's goalkeeper Albertinho Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo de Barros. Rui Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Albertinho Velloso made a huge save. If Rui Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pojuquinha's Albertinho Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Pojuquinha from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute Oscar do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Marcelo de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Albertinho Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Pojuquinha getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luiz Barbosa hit a great ball. Marcelo de Barros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Albertinho Velloso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Pojuquinha's goalkeeper Albertinho Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo de Barros. Albertinho Velloso came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Antoniao SS's Marcelo de Barros. But to his dismay, Marcelo de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Fausto Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Rui Bastos took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Albertinho Velloso to make any attempt to save it. In the 44th minute, Filipe Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Duarte to make the kick off. Albertinho Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar do Valle took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albertinho Velloso. Albertinho Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Oscar do Valle struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Albertinho Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antoniao SS. Albertinho Velloso came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Antoniao SS's Marco Peixoto. But to his dismay, Marco Peixoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Albertinho Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo de Barros went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Albertinho Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar do Valle in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Pojuquinha's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo de Barros came free, but Albertinho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Rui Bastos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albertinho Velloso. Pojuquinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Bastos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 86th minute Marcelo de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Pojuquinha defense, Marcelo de Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertinho Velloso. The Pojuquinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertinho Velloso should have stopped the shot. Antoniao SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
