José Pedro Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richard Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Gomes's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Luiz Paulo Araújo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Prata. Richard Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Osvaldinho Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Richard Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Pedro Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Pontes having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Pigon Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Araújo came free, but Richard Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime da Fonseca hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Osvaldinho Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Prata having to interfere. Richard Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Asgard FC booed when Pigon Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Dedê Pontes made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Asgard FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Vargas came free, but Dedê Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Pigon Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The Pigon Football Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Asgard FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
