Coiotes Club MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Washington Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Freire's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Mazinho Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Gustavo Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Américo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Vito Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Washington Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 27th minute Vito Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Vito Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EE LEMENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Coiotes Club MZ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Zézinho de Andrade hit a great ball. Bebeto Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Coiotes Club MZ's Fabiano Mesquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Américo Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Washington Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Vito Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zézinho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Felipe Xavier was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Felipe Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Rodriguinho Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Doni Quadros in the 72nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Washington Bertassi's left hand side. Coiotes Club MZ's Fabiano Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fabiano Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Coiotes Club MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Mesquita couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, EE LEMENSE's Felipe Xavier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Washington Bertassi. Washington Bertassi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Américo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When the match was over EE LEMENSE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Coiotes Club MZ throughout the match.
