Murillo Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiago Gabriel Pereira went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Jeremias de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Lopez having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game José Pedro Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iriri's Murillo Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Prata came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Iriri's Jeremias de Moraes. But to his dismay, Jeremias de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, José Pedro Vargas took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Murillo Lopez to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Dias in the 30th minute of play forced Pigon Football Club's goalkeeper Richard Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pigon Football Club's Richard Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias de Moraes in the 31st minute of play. Iriri's Murillo Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Iriri from getting a goal against them. Pigon Football Club's José Pedro Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Matos got free with Murillo Lopez in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 47 minutes, Jeremias de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iriri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
