Texugo Futebol Clube's Kiko Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Schmidt in the 17th minute of play. Ernani Netto hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Anselmo Quirino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Valdo Furtado put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kiko Arce. Kiko Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, João Vítor Mesquita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. João Vítor Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Trigo in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Ernani Netto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for João Vítor Mesquita to make any attempt to save it. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Texugo Futebol Clube! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 58th match minute, VISÃO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Furtado to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Texugo Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Barros came free, but Kiko Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Paulo Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Texugo Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VISÃO F.C the free kick. In the 61st minute, Paulo Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mazinho Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Alfredão Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Texugo Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredão Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind VISÃO F.C's goalkeeper João Vítor Mesquita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Zonta in the 81st minute of play forced VISÃO F.C's goalkeeper João Vítor Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Barros in the 83rd minute of play forced Texugo Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Kiko Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Arce came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by VISÃO F.C's Júnior Schmidt. But to his dismay, Júnior Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 94 played minutes VISÃO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Furtado. Paulo Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Texugo Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Alfredão Zonta hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. VISÃO F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
