Falcão Tepedino started the match with the kick off. Betão Neto made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Fabiano Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the match, Coiotes Club MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Tepedino came free, but Washington Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Betão Neto made a huge save. If Ivo Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Vasconcelos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Coiotes Club MZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Fabiano Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coiotes Club MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Coiotes Club MZ booed when Atlético Alagoano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, one of Atlético Alagoano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atlético Alagoano. Ivo Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Neto having to interfere. Betão Neto made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Fabiano Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. Betão Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Vasconcelos in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Atlético Alagoano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Betão Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Mesquita went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, Falcão Tepedino notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Coiotes Club MZ's Washington Bertassi. Washington Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atlético Alagoano's Betão Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Vasconcelos in the 36th minute of play. Betão Neto came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Coiotes Club MZ's Fabiano Mesquita. But to his dismay, Fabiano Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Washington Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivo Vasconcelos made a kick off. Fabiano Mesquita took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão Neto. Betão Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 61stth minute of the game Ivo Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Alagoano's Betão Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Fabiano Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Betão Neto. Atlético Alagoano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. The supporters of Atlético Alagoano booed when Coiotes Club MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebeto Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Betão Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fabiano Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coiotes Club MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
