Andradas United's Jacinto Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Fantini in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, JessLeh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Secco came free, but Waldir Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Luizão Mandrak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Dias skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in JessLeh FC's zone, Nuno Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Moura came out of the goal and Nuno Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Secco in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldir Moura saved JessLeh FC from getting behind. Dadá Secco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind JessLeh FC's goalkeeper Waldir Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Andradas United's zone, Jerônimo Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Dias came out of the goal and Jerônimo Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Augusto Pirani went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Nuno Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerônimo Fantini made a kick off. Denílson Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denílson Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudinei Paraense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Eugênio Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JessLeh FC's protests and gave Eugênio Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Dadá Secco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir Moura was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When Zé Augusto Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the JessLeh FC fans jumped to their feet. Waldir Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Nuno Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andradas United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. JessLeh FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
