Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dadá Secco started the match with the kick off. If Dadá Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 played minutes Tomasia got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Toledo. A collision led to Tomasia getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fábio Toledo hit a great ball. Andradas United's Claudinei Paraense couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tomasia. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Dadá Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andradas United's supporters rose to their feet, but Dadá Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sydney Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Quintal hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nuno Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Sydney Esteves made a huge save. When Dito Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tomasia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Botelho couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Murillo Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Hélio Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Andradas United's Nuno Vale made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sydney Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermínio de Sousa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Fábio Toledo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Dadá Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sydney Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Velloso in the 41st minute of play forced Andradas United's goalkeeper Jacinto Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Dito Botelho made the kick off in the second half. Sydney Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Secco in the 53rd minute of play. Dito Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Dias having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Secco in the 64th minute of play forced Tomasia's goalkeeper Sydney Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Secco might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dadá Secco ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Secco in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sydney Esteves saved Tomasia from getting behind. Fellipe Terra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sydney Esteves. Tomasia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sydney Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Vale in the 74th minute of the match. Sydney Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Vale in the 75th minute of play. Sydney Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dadá Secco went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 89 played minutes Andradas United got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Paraense. 90 minutes into the match, Andradas United's goalkeeper Jacinto Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Rosado. If Nelsinho Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dito Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jacinto Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
