In the 17th minute, André Luís Arantes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gabs Football Club's Marc-André Flury didn't even have to move. In the 22nd minute, Dito Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TROPA DE ELITE's Waldemar Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evandro Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Luiz Guilherme Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gabs Football Club's Marc-André Flury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Paulista in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Carlos Meira got free with Marc-André Flury in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evandro Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Evandro Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cleiton Valadares lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 63 minutes into the game, one of Gabs Football Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marc-André Flury came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by TROPA DE ELITE's João Carlos Meira. But to his dismay, João Carlos Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Waldemar Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. TROPA DE ELITE's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc-André Flury breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Carlos Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-André Flury having to interfere. Gabs Football Club's Marc-André Flury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Teles in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, João Carlos Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TROPA DE ELITE's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Carlos Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldemar Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
