The audience was convinced that Bengt Johnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marc-André Flury was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Mark Molin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernando Alonso. Manchester Cic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manchester Cic's Fernando Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Saldanha in the 14th minute of play. Hudson Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc-André Flury. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hudson Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. Bengt Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Hudson Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc-André Flury was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Manchester Cic's João Arósio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bengt Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Marc-André Flury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc-André Flury didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hudson Correia went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Mário Lago hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gabs Football Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cleiton Valadares hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Gabs Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when João Arósio came free, but Marc-André Flury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Manchester Cic got a corner. Gabs Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Arósio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Manchester Cic's corner João Arósio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marc-André Flury quite easily take care of the ball. Hudson Correia had several of the Gabs Football Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Marc-André Flury as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hudson Correia to make the kick off. Fellipe de Lara hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Fernando Alonso made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Evandro Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the game, Pedro da Silva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Alonso. Pedro da Silva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Gabs Football Club's Marc-André Flury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Johnsson in the 59th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Gabs Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Rony Pena. After 68 played minutes Gabs Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Saraiva. In the 72nd minute Evandro Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Hudson Correia put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marc-André Flury. Fernando Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Manchester Cic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Arósio to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Manchester Cic's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Saraiva came free, but Fernando Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Bengt Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc-André Flury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Evandro Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabs Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mário Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a little luck, Manchester Cic's Fernando Alonso got control of the ball when Mark Molin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bengt Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marc-André Flury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manchester Cic's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
