A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafinha Gomes. Irai FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelinho Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieguinho Severo couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Marcelinho Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Irai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Jacinto came free, but Rafinha Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelinho Silveira in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 minutes, Marcelinho Silveira made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Irai FC's Rafinha Gomes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Irai FC's zone, Gerson Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Flavinho Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seleção's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafinha Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelinho Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafinha Gomes having to make a save. Dieguinho Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Gomes having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Gerson Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seleção's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gerson Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot.
