Mengol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hortêncio Camargo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Cearense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mengol's Reynaldo Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Campidelis in the 40th minute of play. After 45 minutes, Hortêncio Camargo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Mengol's Reynaldo Cearense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Camargo to make the kick off. Reynaldo Cearense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Campidelis went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Hugo Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mengol fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Las Conchas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
