Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dé Neiva kicked off to start the match. Glauco dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Geraldo da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Dé Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laranjeiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dráusio do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Neiva in the 9th minute of play. Potreiro's Glauco dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Glauco dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laranjeiras FC's Geraldo da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco dos Santos in the 24th minute of play. Manfredo Barreto's late challenge caught a Potreiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfredo Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Manfredo Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Laranjeiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Pinheiro. Dráusio do Vale came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Laranjeiras FC's Cristóvão Arce. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fiori Marques's late challenge caught a Laranjeiras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiori Marques helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Potreiro's Fiori Marques got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Glauco dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Geraldo da Silveira. Laranjeiras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Potreiro's Glauco dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glauco dos Santos made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Erik Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Glauco dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Geraldo da Silveira. Laranjeiras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luís Gustavo Freire hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Dráusio do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dé Neiva's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Falcão Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Potreiro getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Inácio Vidal hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Allan Marinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dráusio do Vale skillfully saved the ball. Cristóvão Arce took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráusio do Vale. Dráusio do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Erik Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Falcão Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potreiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luís Gustavo Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glauco dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráusio do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Neiva in the 96th minute of the match. Potreiro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
