Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Santos Dumont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Prestes came free, but Rodriguinho Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cauã Trancoso came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mané Abraão could save by the left post. Washington Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Zézinho Mello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mané Abraão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodriguinho Oliveira came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Morros's Gil de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Gil de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Gil de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Morros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Morros getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Allan Cerezo hit a great ball. Santos Dumont FC's Zézinho Mello took a good shot, in the 24th minute, which hit the crossbar above Mané Abraão's head, and flew over the goal. Morros's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Santos Dumont FC. Mané Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Freitas in the 25th minute of play. Rodriguinho Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil de Azevedo in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Jorginho Freitas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mané Abraão, 1-1. Manfredo Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Oliveira having to interfere. If Gil de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodriguinho Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil de Azevedo in the 46th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Mazinho Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos Dumont FC and the Morros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléber Sá to make the kick off. When Osvaldinho Prata came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Santos Dumont FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Prata couldn't finish the play. Mané Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Morros's Allan Cerezo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rodriguinho Oliveira but with some difficulty. Jorginho Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Abraão having to interfere. Mané Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamílton de Amaral during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Morros's Hamílton de Amaral got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Santos Dumont FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gil de Azevedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Santos Dumont FC's Rodriguinho Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Prestes in the 71st minute of play. After 73 played minutes Santos Dumont FC got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Amaral. Cauã Trancoso took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Abraão. Mané Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 79th minute Jorginho Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Allan Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morros's protests and gave Allan Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Santos Dumont FC booed when Morros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kléber Sá in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Santos Dumont FC's Rodriguinho Oliveira got control of the ball when Gil de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manfredo Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Morros's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Freitas came free, but Mané Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
