The Ema fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. José Pedro Lira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Canarama's José Pedro Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard de Castro in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Ema's Alexandre Valle made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Pedro Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 91st match minute, Ema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match Dagoberto Diniz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Pedro Toledo skillfully saved the ball.
