Spectators: 7277 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Erveira FC's Umberto de Lara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Ernani Cosme could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Jonas Vasconcelos however easily saved by the left post. After recieving a nice pass, Hunters Heisz's Sílvio Luís Paes tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Ernani Cosme made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Vasconcelos. Erveira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jonas Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jonas Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Cardoso in the 25th minute of play forced Erveira FC's goalkeeper Jonas Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrinho Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Vasconcelos having to interfere. Zé Carlos Secco's late challenge caught a Hunters Heisz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Carlos Secco helped the player get up and apologised. Ernani Cosme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Jonas Vasconcelos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ernani Cosme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Jonas Vasconcelos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Franklin Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Britto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Cardoso in the 36th minute of play forced Erveira FC's goalkeeper Jonas Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Michel Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Cardoso in the 40th minute of play. Michel Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ernani Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernani Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrinho Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Michel Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Erveira FC's zone, Pedrinho Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Pedrinho Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Fonseca came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Naldo Britto could save by the left post. Umberto de Lara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Naldo Britto came out and tried to block the shot, but Umberto de Lara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. If Ernani Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Vasconcelos having to interfere. Naldo Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto de Lara in the 89th minute of the match. Naldo Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
