Bigodes FC's Mateus Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Queiroz in the 8th minute of play. Mateus Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Arantes in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Fabinho Capixaba could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Mateus Linhares however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, Refugio EC's Mateus Linhares threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnaldo Viana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcel Veiga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mazinho Quadros to strike the kick off in the second half. Bigodes FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Refugio EC's much stronger midfield.
