Claudinei Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bigodes FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cido Brasil made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Bigodes FC got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Sousa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Gomes got free with Mateus Linhares in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. That made the score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Bigodes FC's Mazinho Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Fantini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the match Glauco Marinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinei Fantini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mazinho Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC DRAGÕES DA REAL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
