The referee ignored Londrina Esporte Clube's protests and gave Carlinhos Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Londrina Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Vianna to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Oscar Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Teles was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cido Brasil made a kick off. João Francisco Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Gomes in the 57th minute of play forced FC DRAGÕES DA REAL's goalkeeper Claudinei Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei Fantini having to make a save. Claudinei Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Velloso in the 62nd minute of play. Leonardo Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of FC DRAGÕES DA REAL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Londrina Esporte Clube:s goal. The referee gave Londrina Esporte Clube a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aloísio de Almeida, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC DRAGÕES DA REAL's Claudinei Fantini. 3-2. Humberto Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Gomes in the 75th minute. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC DRAGÕES DA REAL! Claudinei Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Natã Siqueira's late challenge caught a Londrina Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 93 minutes of play, Londrina Esporte Clube's João Francisco Velloso made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinei Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Londrina Esporte Clube's João Francisco Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
