An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Gomes in the 26th minute of play forced 25 de Outubro's goalkeeper Silvinho Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Gomes in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvinho Neto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 36 minutes into the game, Dito Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Londrina Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 25 de Outubro the free kick. A collision led to Londrina Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dito Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Carlos Alberto Mesquita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 56 played minutes 25 de Outubro got a freekick which was hit by Natã Trigo. After having played for 58 minutes, João Francisco Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Londrina Esporte Clube's Humberto Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Londrina Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, 25 de Outubro's Kauã Munhoz got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind 25 de Outubro's goalkeeper Silvinho Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Humberto Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falcão Diniz's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. João Francisco Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Londrina Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
