Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vítor Arantes took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Urbano in the 4th minute of play forced Arrepol's goalkeeper Maurício Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Urbano in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Arrepol booed when Chascona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Urbano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurício Tasso came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Urbano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Vítor Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Pinheiro having to interfere. Michel Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chascona FC's Abel Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Chascona FC's Geovani Pitta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurício Tasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Urbano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maurício Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Urbano in the 53rd minute of play. Maurício Tasso came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Chascona FC's Geovani Pitta. But to his dismay, Geovani Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Arrepol's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Urbano came free, but Maurício Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Arrepol getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Filipe Teles hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Arrepol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Teles to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Pitta in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Arrepol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Benê Linares, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Abel Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chascona FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Arrepol for a fine match.
