Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tiago Arósio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Matías Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Panema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Esteves couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute of the match Roberto Dantas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Paiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes Estrema got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Miranda. After 10 minutes, Afonsinho Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panema and the Estrema players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panema's Afonsinho Catarinense got a free kick in the 10th minute. Murillo Miranda's late challenge caught a Panema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murillo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. Murillo Miranda hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Tiago Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Arósio having to interfere. Panema's José Carlos Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Gerber in the 23rd minute of play. Caco Pitta took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Carlos Arósio. José Carlos Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes in the game, Tião Vale fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ezequiel Paiva having to interfere. In the 34th minute, one of Panema:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panema. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tião Vale in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Carlos Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Tiago Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Tiago Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrema's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Arósio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Tião Vale made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Tião Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Estrema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Paiva should have stopped the shot. Ezequiel Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Vitinho Simão hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Orlando de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Panema fans jumped to their feet. Panema's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
