Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernani Capixaba started the match with the kick off. If Vasiliy Kirichenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guga Veloso hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Gustavo Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasiliy Kirichenko in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Millwall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. When Bernardinho de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millwall FC's protests and gave Bernardinho de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. When Vasiliy Kirichenko came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Calcoene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasiliy Kirichenko couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Calcoene getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ernesto Vega hit a great ball. When Hernani Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Millwall FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernani Capixaba couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, Ernesto Vega recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Proença. Ernesto Vega showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Millwall FC's Hernani Capixaba got a free kick in the 24th minute. Antônio Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zonta went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Luisinho Bezerra made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luan Breckenfeld. In the 47th minute, Bernardinho de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasiliy Kirichenko was the one to do the kick off. Vasiliy Kirichenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ernesto Vega came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Calcoene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Vega couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the game, Luisinho Bezerra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Millwall FC's Daniel Zonta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Calcoene's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Hernani Capixaba scored to the left of an out of position Antônio Alcântara, making the score, 1-2. Luisinho Bezerra made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ernesto Vega immediately put the ball in play. Vasiliy Kirichenko hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernani Capixaba in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antônio Alcântara saved Calcoene from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Daniel Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Alcântara having to interfere. In the 97thth minute of the game Hernani Capixaba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calcoene's Antônio Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Millwall FC played a much better game than Calcoene and deserved their victory. The Calcoene players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
