When Enrique Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Paulista FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Catarinense couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Kalore's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio da Costa came free, but Luiz Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kalore's Lucas Bittencourt got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th match minute, Paulista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Lucas to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Igor Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paulista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalore the free kick. A collision led to Paulista FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Igor Severo hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Kalore's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio da Costa came free, but Luiz Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horácio da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Capixaba in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Pedro Mangueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dário Faria kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 21stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Paulista FC's keeper José Pedro Mangueira was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Dário Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalore's Luiz Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio da Costa in the 30th minute of play. Dário Faria took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Pedro Mangueira. José Pedro Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 35th minute Baltazar Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dário Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Mangueira having to interfere. After 41 minutes, César Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulista FC and the Kalore players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Paulista FC got a freekick which was hit by César Tande. In the 42nd minute, Dário Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dário Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltazar Capixaba was the one to do the kick off. Horácio da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Luiz Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kalore's Nilson Penha got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Luiz de Queiroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Mandrak skillfully saved the ball. Luiz Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Enrique Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Luiz Mandrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paulista FC. 67 minutes into the match, Kalore's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio da Costa came free, but Luiz Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Mandrak having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Enrique Catarinense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 82nd minute Baltazar Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. José Pedro Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Pedro Mangueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Faria went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Luiz Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, Paulista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Tande to maneuver through the defense.
