Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Valdo Sá made the kick off which started today's match. If Geovani Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Itaquarari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macacas SC the free kick. After 3 played minutes Itaquarari got a freekick which was hit by Gino Romero. Armando de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Macacas SC's Geovani Berger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando de Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With his leg Humberto Trevisan managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Itaquarari's Wellington Barros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Macacas SC's Frank Hermes got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Wellington Barros came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Itaquarari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Barros couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Carlos Alberto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Trevisan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Alberto Quirino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Macacas SC's goalkeeper Humberto Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wellington Barros. Geovani Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Armando de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando de Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Quirino was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Barros in the 51st minute of play forced Macacas SC's goalkeeper Humberto Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Quirino in the 54th minute of play. Macacas SC's Humberto Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Barros in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Valdo Sá tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando de Brito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Itaquarari's Rafinha Mineiro got a free kick in the 61st minute. Valdo Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Itaquarari's Wellington Barros in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macacas SC's goalie prevented a goal. Geovani Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Armando de Brito made a huge save. Itaquarari's Armando de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Itaquarari from getting a goal against them. Geovani Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando de Brito having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Macacas SC's Valdo Sá slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando de Brito. That made the score 1-3 after 87 minutes of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaquarari's goalkeeper Armando de Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serafim Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. A hard shot 98 in the game by Geovani Berger from a close distance when the talented Armando de Brito managed to make a qualified save. Itaquarari's players were relieved.
