In the 6th minute, Supino FC's Hernani Linhares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nelsinho Tavares. Nelsinho Tavares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Supino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Ramalho came free, but Oswaldo Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Nelsinho Tavares made a huge save. Jorge Ceresso in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nelsinho Tavares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Supino FC booed when Novo Baependy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Supino FC's Henrique das Neves got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jorge Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nelsinho Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hernani Linhares made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jorge Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52ndth minute of the game Jorge Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novo Baependy's Nelsinho Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Novo Baependy's Nelsinho Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Linhares in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Hernani Linhares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelsinho Tavares. Novo Baependy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernani Linhares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Linhares in the 66th minute of play forced Novo Baependy's goalkeeper Nelsinho Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Novo Baependy's zone, Hernani Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Tavares came out of the goal and Hernani Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nelsinho Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Nelsinho Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Supino FC. After 92 played minutes Novo Baependy got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Tepedino. Nelsinho Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Ceresso in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Novo Baependy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Supino FC were the better team. Supino FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
