Zdzislaw Sienkowski started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Milosz Walec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbie F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 8th minute Milosz Walec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Milosz Walec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goiás E. C.'s Carlos Fernando Trevisan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Delfim Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiás E. C.'s protests and gave Delfim Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Goiás E. C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Delfim Vieira hit a great ball. Carlos Fernando Trevisan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Walec in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the Goiás E. C. defense, Milosz Walec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Fernando Trevisan. The Goiás E. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Fernando Trevisan should have stopped the shot. If Delfim Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Trevisan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Sienkowski in the 31st minute. Carlos Fernando Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Milosz Walec sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Goiás E. C.'s Carlos Fernando Trevisan got control of the ball when Zdzislaw Sienkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Barbie F.C's Leonardo Bueno made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Fernando Trevisan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Goiás E. C. defense, Rodolfo Pontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Fernando Trevisan. The Goiás E. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Fernando Trevisan should have stopped the shot. Carlos Fernando Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Walec in the 43rd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giuseppe Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. Goiás E. C.'s Carlos Fernando Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho de Godoi in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Milosz Walec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Barbie F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. José Rodrigues hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Goiás E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Sienkowski came free, but Carlos Fernando Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Walec in the 58th minute of play forced Goiás E. C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barbie F.C's zone, Giuseppe Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Botelho came out of the goal and Giuseppe Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Leonardo Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbie F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Fernando Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 minutes of play, Barbie F.C's Zdzislaw Sienkowski made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Fernando Trevisan was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 68th minute of the match José Rodrigues completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave José Rodrigues a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carlos Fernando Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Walec, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Barbie F.C made a substitution. Armando Linares replaced Edinho de Godoi. In the 75th minute Barbie F.C were awarded a corner. Milosz Walec went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Barbie F.C's corner Milosz Walec fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Fernando Trevisan quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Barbie F.C getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Diogo Porto hit a great ball. Carlos Fernando Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Walec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Trevisan having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barbie F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Goiás E. C.. Delfim Vieira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adhemar Botelho. 5-1. Goiás E. C.'s Carlos Fernando Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Walec in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Sienkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Carlos Fernando Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Milosz Walec came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Barbie F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milosz Walec couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barbie F.C fully deserved thier win.
