Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Carlos de Amaral started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Caetano Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Badalo's Régis França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Caetano Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Régis França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute of the match, Marcelo Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but José Paulo Cosme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 13th minute, Caetano Chaves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Régis França was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Badalo's Marcelo Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Proença in the 27th minute of play forced Rio Branco EC's goalkeeper José Paulo Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. José Paulo Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Carlos de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rio Branco EC's José Paulo Cosme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Branco EC from getting a goal against them. Caetano Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Carlos de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rdth minute of the game Caetano Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Badalo's Régis França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Zé Carlos de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Branco EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Carlos de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kléber Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. José Paulo Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Seco in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Badalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match, Zé Carlos de Amaral got a very nice opportunity to score, but Régis França was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zé Carlos de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Régis França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Zé Carlos de Amaral hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Badalo's goalkeeper Régis França had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Carlos de Amaral. Rio Branco EC's André Luiz Negri was substituted for Zé Carlos de Amaral. After 82 played minutes Badalo got a freekick which was hit by André Proença. André Luiz Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-3 when André Luiz Negri sped through Badalo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Régis França. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléber Martins during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kléber Martins hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Vitinho Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Rio Branco EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Badalo.
