Spectators: 7642 (Terracing: 5733, Seating: 1757, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maximiliano Fernendo kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Fernendo in the 3rd minute of play forced Iacu's goalkeeper Dagoberto Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto Brasil was a little too slow when Maximiliano Fernendo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Mamute's Maximiliano Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dagoberto Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Iacu's Dagoberto Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Silva in the 17th minute of play. Maximiliano Fernendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dagoberto Brasil having to make a save. Maximiliano Fernendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kosmas Trabakoulos took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dagoberto Brasil. Dagoberto Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 26th minute Jorginho Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Maximiliano Fernendo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dagoberto Brasil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Maximiliano Fernendo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamute's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Fernendo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mamute booed when Iacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Toninho Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamute's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarbas Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Silva in the 67th minute of play. Tomás Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Maximiliano Fernendo scored 5-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagoberto Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Iacu's Zé Carlos Britto got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes of play, Mamute's Kosmas Trabakoulos made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dagoberto Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dagoberto Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kosmas Trabakoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mamute's Hudson Vianna got a free kick in the 80th minute. Mamute's Toninho Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dagoberto Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Fernendo in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Mamute's goalkeeper Jarbas Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luan Tasso. A nice corner shot did that Márcio Favoretto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jarbas Lopez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mamute walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
