Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) After having played for 3 minutes, Sebastião Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Lourenço FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubens Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Maciel in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute João Adolfo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Esporte Clube Bahia's Kiko Maciel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubens Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Adolfo Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Arósio having to interfere. In the 20th minute, João Adolfo Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esporte Clube Bahia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 27th minute, Kiko Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Adolfo Gaspar took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubens Arósio. Rubens Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Rubens Arósio came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube Bahia's Zé Prestes. But to his dismay, Zé Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Rubens Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Gaspar in the 41st minute of the match. Rubens Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Gaspar in the 44th minute of play. Zé Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, João Adolfo Gaspar made a precise shot to the right of Rubens Arósio. São Lourenço FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Prestes was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute João Adolfo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Gerber took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubens Arósio. São Lourenço FC's Rubens Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save São Lourenço FC from getting a goal against them. Rubens Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Prestes in the 70th minute. Rubens Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Maciel in the 71st minute of the match. Rubens Arósio was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and João Adolfo Gaspar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Adolfo Gaspar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Zé Prestes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Rubens Arósio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rubens Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, João Adolfo Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esporte Clube Bahia's supporters rose to their feet, but João Adolfo Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Rubens Arósio managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Esporte Clube Bahia's Zé Prestes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes in the game, Kiko Maciel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rubens Arósio having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kiko Maciel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rubens Arósio. That made the score 0-9 in the 86 minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Gaspar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rubens Arósio. João Adolfo Gaspar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. The supporters of São Lourenço FC booed when Esporte Clube Bahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Adolfo Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Esporte Clube Bahia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than São Lourenço FC.
