The AC Cecchetto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horácio Hermes should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, AC Cecchetto's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Alcântara came free, but Horácio Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fellipe Almeida made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Delfim do Vale sent off a good shot on target. Horácio Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Ginga getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erivaldo Pena hit a great ball. Delfim do Vale was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. AC Cecchetto's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fellipe Almeida came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Cecchetto's Sidney Moura. But to his dismay, Sidney Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 37 minutes into the game, Sidney Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Cecchetto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ginga the free kick. The supporters of Ginga booed when AC Cecchetto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Ginga's Cícero Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horácio Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Ricardo Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to AC Cecchetto getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ernani Silveira hit a great ball. The AC Cecchetto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ginga were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Palmeira was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim do Vale in the 55th minute of play forced Ginga's goalkeeper Fellipe Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fellipe Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ginga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Cecchetto the free kick. Cícero Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fellipe Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim do Vale in the 91st minute of play. If Delfim do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ginga walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
