Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Cícero Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ginga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Curitiba FC's Maicon Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Ferraz in the 6th minute of play. Thomás Cerezo's late challenge caught a Curitiba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ginga's Thomás Cerezo got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Dalmo Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmo Bueno in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fellipe Almeida saved Ginga from getting behind. Jairo Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Maicon Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dalmo Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Curitiba FC's goalkeeper Maicon Peixoto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ginga's Ricardo Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erivaldo Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erivaldo Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maicon Peixoto came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ginga's Ricardo Palmeira. But to his dismay, Ricardo Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Doriva Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fellipe Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Curitiba FC got a freekick which was hit by Edu Marques. Maicon Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Curitiba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ginga were winning 0-1.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo Bueno couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Ginga's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Bueno came free, but Fellipe Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Maicon Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Ginga's Ricardo Palmeira in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curitiba FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Curitiba FC booed when Ginga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maicon Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cícero Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Cícero Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Maicon Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Ricardo Palmeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curitiba FC's Maicon Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1-2 became the score in the 78th minute when Dalmo Bueno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fellipe Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Bueno in the 81st minute of the match. Erivaldo Pena hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Gugu Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maicon Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Zanette in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Dalmo Bueno notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ginga's Fellipe Almeida. Fellipe Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
