Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's João Pedro de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Miranda in the 3rd minute of play. A hard shot by Waldemar Monteiro from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got João Pedro de Castro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee gave Nova Erechim - FSCMZ a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Luís Romero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maloca's Jonas Jauregui. 1-1. In the 28th minute, Angelo Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luan Veloz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. João Pedro de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. The Maloca fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Maloca's Luan Veloz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luan Velozs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got João Pedro de Castro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Zézinho Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zézinho Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Zézinho Machado hit a great ball. Luan Veloz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Pedro de Castro having to make a save. In the 58thth minute of the game Luan Veloz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's João Pedro de Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luan Veloz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Vieira during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maloca's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
