Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arapongas's Nildo Rossi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dito Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Evandro Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RMF FC's Dito Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dito Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Arapongas's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Lopez came free, but Evandro Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes RMF FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão de Moraes. Evandro Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, RMF FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Mello to maneuver through the defense. Dito Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Evandro Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Caetano Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arapongas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Arapongas fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Arapongas's Claudinho Messias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredão de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Nildo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bernardo Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dito Lopez got free with Evandro Alcântara in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes Arapongas got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Marques. Caetano Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Marquez's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Nildo Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caetano Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nildo Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 70 minutes of play, Arapongas's Nildo Rossi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arapongas's Evandro Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Arapongas from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Arapongas's Evandro Alcântara got control of the ball when Dito Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dito Lopez took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evandro Alcântara. Evandro Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 88th minute Nildo Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Queiroz in the 89th minute of play. RMF FC's Bernardo Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dito Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arapongas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
