When Matheus de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaucho SS's protests and gave Matheus de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. 27 minutes into the game, 4kFC's Flavinho Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Válbson da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Válbson da Costa was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Quintal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz da Costa. 4kFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Adolfo Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to 4kFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luciano Eger hit a great ball. Luiz da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enio Cruz in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Ezequiel Monteiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 52nd playminute. If Enio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes 4kFC got a freekick which was hit by Dito Paiva. João Adolfo Quintal spun around in front of the goal 58 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of 4kFC's goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Flavinho Passos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaucho SS's Válbson da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezequiel Monteiro scored 1-4 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Válbson da Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Quintal in the 69th minute of play forced 4kFC's goalkeeper Luiz da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Flavinho Passos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaucho SS's Válbson da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Quintal in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, João Adolfo Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaucho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz da Costa came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Gaucho SS's Enio Cruz. But to his dismay, Enio Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Flavinho Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Válbson da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
