The supporters of Ibrahy AD booed when Oficial American Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, Ibrahy AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Faria to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Tiaguinho Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oficial American Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 33 played minutes Oficial American Club got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Monteiro. Conrado de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Costa in the 35th minute of play. Dalmo dos Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamim Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmo dos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrianinho Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Benjamim Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Oficial American Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Costa came free, but Conrado de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Ibrahy AD's Ernani Costa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado de Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Oficial American Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ibrahy AD were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Ernani Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibrahy AD's goalkeeper Benjamim Teles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dalmo dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Adrianinho Monteiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Oficial American Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Ernani Costa scored to the left of an out of position Conrado de Salles, making the score, 0-2. 73 minutes into the match, Oficial American Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Costa came free, but Conrado de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Coutinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Benjamim Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Conrado de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fernando Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado de Salles having to interfere. In the 98th minute Ernani Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Oficial American Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ibrahy AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Ibrahy AD.
