The coaching staff of Marangua protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dedê Trigo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 57th minute, one of Marangua:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marangua. Frank de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rolo Compressor booed when Marangua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Vítor Gaúcho got free with César do Vale in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Rolo Compressor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
