But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Messias couldn't finish the play. If Duarte Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Kauã Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Kauã Lago notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Megafuts FC's Raphael Mazza. Raphael Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Kauã Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raphael Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 23rd match minute, Megafuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Silva to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Messias in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Castelo de Areia E.C. booed when Megafuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Jonas Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gilson de Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Megafuts FC's protests and gave Gilson de Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. Castelo de Areia E.C.'s Gabriel Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Megafuts FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gilson de Queirós hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Megafuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Messias came free, but Raphael Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Messias in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Megafuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Messias came free, but Raphael Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Megafuts FC's Raphael Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Megafuts FC from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Celsinho Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raphael Mazza, 0-6. Raphael Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Megafuts FC's Raphael Mazza got control of the ball when Kauã Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kauã Lago might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raphael Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kauã Lago ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gilson de Queirós was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Gilson de Queirós hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Castelo de Areia E.C. played a much better game than Megafuts FC and deserved their victory. The Megafuts FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
