If Henk Latomme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tocantinópolis EC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Tocantinópolis EC's Henk Latomme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jorge Mazza didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tocantinópolis EC's Henk Latomme shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Thiago Perfumo hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Paulista was the one to do the kick off. Jorge Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Latomme, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to Gilbert AD getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. José Pedro Teles hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Henk Latomme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Mazza was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tocantinópolis EC fully deserved thier win.
