In the 13th match minute, SpVgg Albrecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arik Geenen to maneuver through the defense. Cezary Walaszkiewiczs short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Haroldo Luz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 20 minutes into the game, Charles Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bonita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SpVgg Albrecht the free kick. Caco Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Nunes in the 40th minute of the match. If Valdemar Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes of play Bonita's Vítor Marques was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 47th match minute, Bonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Marques to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Francisco Cardozo made a kick off. The coaching staff of SpVgg Albrecht protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zé Augusto Donato had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Bonita a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Gaúcho in the 78th minute of play forced Bonita's goalkeeper Caco Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Alan Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, João Francisco Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Rodrigo Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SpVgg Albrecht's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of SpVgg Albrecht's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SpVgg Albrecht may have spent more time on the ball, but Bonita were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
