Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fred Pombal made the kick off which started today's match. Falcão Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, Chacorore EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado de Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Ricardinho Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pitangueira AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 16thth minute of the game Ricardinho Velloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacorore EC's Falcão Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Pitangueira AD's Ricardinho Velloso made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Novaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Pitangueira AD's Ricardinho Velloso in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chacorore EC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Velloso in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gildo Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Chacorore EC defense, Ricardinho Velloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Novaes. The Chacorore EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Novaes should have stopped the shot. Rui de Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Durvalino Chaves made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Mateus Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitangueira AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Pitangueira AD's Gildo Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Velloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Novaes. Chacorore EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Velloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Ricardinho Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pitangueira AD's Durvalino Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Pombal in the 73rd minute of play. Durvalino Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Pombal in the 76th minute of play. Franklin Valladares hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Chacorore EC got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Valladares. After having played for 81 minutes, Arnaldo Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pitangueira AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rui de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui de Queiroz's late challenge caught a Pitangueira AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Chacorore EC got a freekick which was hit by Rui de Queiroz. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Arnaldo Capixaba got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gildo Lago in the 98thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Falcão Novaes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Chacorore EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pitangueira AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
