Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lenílson Favoretto to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexey Gyonev in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinei de Souza saved Soltas AD from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Amílton das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinei de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Guimarães in the 55th minute of the match. Alexey Gyonev scored 4-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lenílson Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Kaszubowski made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Aracruz's zone, Didi Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Kaszubowski came out of the goal and Didi Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinei de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexey Gyonev in the 84th minute of play. When Aracruz's Alexey Gyonev in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soltas AD's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Soltas AD's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Guimarães came free, but Claudinei de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Guimarães in the 93rd minute of play forced Soltas AD's goalkeeper Claudinei de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Alexey Gyonev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei de Souza was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
