After the first half Lemon Haze FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zé Paulo Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Lopes in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Sydney de Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Paulo Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 62nd minute, Wiliam Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sydney de Carvalho in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Esteves saved Vasco da Gama from getting behind. A hard shot 74 in the game by Sydney de Carvalho from a close distance when the talented Zé Paulo Esteves managed to make a qualified save. Vasco da Gama's players were relieved. In the 77th minute, Sydney de Carvalho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé Paulo Esteves. The goal made the score 1-8. In the 80th minute Sydney de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauro Passos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Paulo Esteves. Vasco da Gama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zé Paulo Esteves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lauro Passos. Zé Paulo Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney de Carvalho in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Sydney de Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Paulo Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-10. The Lemon Haze FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lemon Haze FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
