When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Siro Edur put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Murilo Barral. In the 22nd match minute, Dobrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Britto to maneuver through the defense. Murilo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Edur in the 25th minute of play. Ramiro Carrasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Murilo Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Edur to make the kick off. With a little luck, Dobrada's Murilo Barral got control of the ball when Ramiro Carrasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kearny's Enéas Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Bertassi in the 70th minute of play. Dobrada's Murilo Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Dobrada from getting a goal against them. Murilo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Edur in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Siro Edur took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Murilo Barral to make any attempt to save it. 87 minutes into the match, Dobrada's goalkeeper Murilo Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Carrasco. After a defensive mix-up in Dobrada's zone, Ramiro Carrasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Barral came out of the goal and Ramiro Carrasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Murilo Barral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over A.C. Kearny could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dobrada throughout the match.
