The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Gil Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as A.C. Kearny's Siro Edur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dito Hoffmann. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. A.C. Kearny's Enéas Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 郝志坤 in the 12th minute of play. Enéas Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 17th match minute, A.C. Kearny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, A.C. Kearny's goal looked a bit too open when 郝志坤 came free, but Enéas Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, 郝志坤 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirates F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 84th minute, Luiz Gustavo Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitório Maia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Enéas Eger was a little too slow when Rony Zonta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 4-2. Rony Zonta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Enéas Eger made a huge save. The A.C. Kearny players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
