Jardel Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Soares having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Lima in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sandrinho do Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafa Britto in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Ramos in the 73rd minute of play forced Ituano Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sandrinho do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Foxers Club getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Anísio Paraíba hit a great ball. Sandrinho do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evandro Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, Ituano Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Paraíba got free with Sandrinho do Nascimento in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rogério Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Enrique Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Cristóvão Meira made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Foxers Club's Enrique Soares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristóvão Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Enrique Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Lima took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Soares. Enrique Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Sandrinho do Nascimento was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Maurício Ramos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maurício Ramos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. The audience was convinced that Rogério Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Soares was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Foxers Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Foxers Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
