Jesus Christian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Campidelis having to interfere. If Durval Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, one of PARTENON - RS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PARTENON - RS. In the 16th minute Benjamin Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, PARTENON - RS's Jesus Christian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Campidelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match PARTENON - RS got a corner. Xaraco SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Falcão do Nascimento ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led PARTENON - RS's Falcão do Nascimento to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Campidelis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 30th minute Carmelo Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Patxi kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 31stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Xaraco SC's keeper Daniel Campidelis was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 33 played minutes Xaraco SC got a freekick which was hit by Willian Dante. Carmelo Patxi scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Benjamin Tróia put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Felippe de Barros. After the first half Xaraco SC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Quintal made a kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Benjamin Tróia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Felippe de Barros having to interfere. Daniel Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Patxi in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Toninho Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Campidelis. Xaraco SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Daniel Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Christian in the 60th minute of the match. Daniel Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xaraco SC's Daniel Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Patxi in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Patxi in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xaraco SC's Daniel Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Patxi in the 73rd minute of play. Jesus Christian took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Campidelis. Daniel Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Daniel Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 89 minutes into the game, PARTENON - RS's Carmelo Patxi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. PARTENON - RS were furious when Aílton Guimarães was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Xaraco SC. Waldemar Couto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felippe de Barros. 4-3. PARTENON - RS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
