The PARTENON - RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Ituano Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PARTENON - RS were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Meira to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandrinho do Nascimento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Durval Vidal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. When Dráusio Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ituano Futebol Clube's protests and gave Dráusio Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. Felippe de Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ituano Futebol Clube's Sandrinho do Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Ituano Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Ituano Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sandrinho do Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Patxi.
