Pedrinho Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Xaraco SC booed when Camaquam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcelo Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Brasil was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 13 played minutes Camaquam FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Brasil. 22 minutes into the match, Xaraco SC's goalkeeper Daniel Campidelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Barral. Benjamin Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nestor Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Marques was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Marcelo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nestor Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Xaraco SC's Daniel Campidelis got control of the ball when Dieguinho Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Marcelo Quintal made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Xaraco SC's Benjamin Tróia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor Marques. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. When William Goiano fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xaraco SC's protests and gave William Goiano a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Benjamin Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dieguinho Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaraco SC's Daniel Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Madureira in the 64th minute of play. Dieguinho Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Oséas Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camaquam FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xaraco SC the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelo Quintal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Marques. That made the score 0-2 in the 72 minute of play. If Marcelo Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xaraco SC's Marcelo Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dieguinho Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Dieguinho Breckenfeld left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camaquam FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Xaraco SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
